LITERALLY WHO IS BABS?
Bárbara Esperanza is in her office. B.Esperanza is a curatorial project run collectively between Mexico City, London, and Amsterdam--based in the offices of the elusive Señora Bárbara Esperanza, whom none of the collective have yet to actually meet. The first edition of B.Esperanza, LYRICS, took place in February 2026 across three very late and steamy nights in the upstairs of the iconic Mexico City salsa club the Barba Azul. The second edition LETRAS was a chatty, verbose whisper of a Gemini season group show the following June in a former chemistry laboratory in Amsterdam.
